The population of China is actually approximately 1.3 billion, but James McGregor, author of “One Billion Customers: Lessons from the Front Lines of Doing Business in China” says that the number “billion” is the important threshold — a threshold past which many highly successful, powerful businesspeople degenerate into “slobbering CEOs.”
